Graduation Rates

In keeping with federal regulations, St. John's College publishes statistics on graduation rates, pass rates of graduates on the licensure examination, and crime statistics on campus. A brief description of how the statistics are calculated accompanies each statistic.

Pre-licensure Graduation Rates

All full time and part time students must graduate within 4 years of entry to St. John's College. Part time students are not included in these calculations unless they entered as a full-time student and later changed to part-time status. Graduation rates are calculated by identifying the number of students who entered the class in August of their junior year and tracking them to graduation within the three year time span. Percents are calculated by dividing the number of students in each category by the number of full time students who entered in August of their junior year.

NCLEX Pass Rate

The sources of this data is the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). All statistics are for graduates who are taking the examination for the first time. Percent passing the exam is calculated by dividing the number passing by the number taking the exam. The IDFPR only reports statistics on first time test takers. However, graduates have multiple opportunities to retake the test to become licensed registered nurses.
